SENS Research Foundation Raises More Than $45,000 for Research Aimed at Slowing Down the Aging Process

Funding Campaign Achieves 154% of Goal, Allowing Biologists to Double the Pace of Research on Restoring Lost Mitochondrial Function and Preventing Age-related Damage

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — November 3, 2015 — The SENS Research Foundation (SRF), a non-profit organization focused on transforming the way the world researches and treats age-related disease, is pleased to announce that its recent MitoSENS Mitochondrial Repair Project fundraising campaign raised $46,128, achieving 154 percent of its goal. The funds, generated through the longevity research focused crowdfunding platform, will accelerate the project’s research efforts toward restoring lost mitochondrial function and preventing age-related damage.
